“Bonny Vista Social Club” (BVSC) is the alter-ego of the well-established Inverness Salsa band “Orquesta Latina Del Norte” (OLDN).
OLDN was started in 2008 to give Inverness’ Salsa community a chance to dance to a live band. It has been doing so for more than 10 years now, including gigs in and around Inverness, and performances at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival every year since 2011!
Realising that the OLDN setup had a specialist appeal, the band cloned itself as BVSC and changed the balance of its repertoire to include R&B, Rock’n’Roll, Pop, Disco, etc – tunes to get your party going with a swing – and it now appeals to a very wide audience.
